Memorial Weekend

Happy Caturday! This is sort of a picture of my Mommy today. Before her coffee. MOL
It is sposed to be kinda rainy and grey most of this weekend, so that means less sunpuddles and more naps.
I do hope your Memorial Day weekend is nicer.
Now this weekend Mommy says we are to remember and honor all the nice military people present and past that have defended freedom. I think this should be ALL military people, not just United States military. Freedom is important for everyone all over the world.
Especially remember those who gave their lives for freedom. This is not to say ignore the present military by any means. But as you say a little prayer for those who are military today, please remember all the families who sent their dear ones off and made the biggest sacrifice. Their dear ones fought for your freedom. And never made it home again.
Remember especially this weekend:
Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. Freedom! It is hard earned, but oh so sacred.

    I really liked your post about Memorial Day and the reference to freedom all over the world.
    I have an uncle I never knew because he died in World War II. You are right it's not just about today's military but all those who served or were lost long ago.
