Monday Mutters

I know. We are late posting. But we had some problems. The smoke detector/carbon monoxide thingys (we have two) kept beeping all last evening, night, and all morning, and maintenance checked them over and called an expert cause they continued to beep. So the expert came and tested air quality cause we might have had a gas leak! Then he had a tester for the detectors and for the gas stove. He found one of the detectors was bad and replaced it. No more silly beeps!  No more silly beeps!  Finally a lady can get a little uninterrupted nap time in around here!
But NOW I keep waiting for the beeps! Phooey! Or as Nerissa would say, MOUSES!!

  5. So glad you figured out the beeps! We have a bad backup battery for FIOS that has been beeping every 15 minutes since Christmas but it never worked during outages so the mom doesn't plan on replacing it. You think she would take it out! But the box is very hard to reach . . . Welcome to our world!

  8. Yup. We got a smoke detector beeping on account of CatDaddy Junior keeps forgetting to get the new battery. Mumsy says you'd think that beep alone would remind him! We sure are glad you guys and no leaks! Now, enjoy :-)
    Hugs.

  18. That was both annoying and scary. We don't like it when the smoke detectors malfunction here because they need new batteries or something - why does that always happen in the middle of the night?

  19. Whoa! When our CO detector went off, TW called the fire department right away. If you ignore it, you could die! Glad there was no CO.

Thank you for the Get Well wishes. I’m hoping that this asthma is history for this year.
