Oooooooh, Christmas Elves!

Hi. I'm the Winter Bear! I'm here to tell you about our Special Visitors! Christmas Elves! So sit back, get comfy, and see what they brought!
Stuff for Mommy and stuff for me! She made the Hot Cocoa later. She said, Yum! And she loves lavender, so the lavender soap (in the small bar) was awesome! And she loves good lotion for her dry skin! And of course there were pictures of my funny and wonderful fellow kitty residents of Minneapolis! And peaking in the back, a special GloGirly Bag. And a couple gift certificates. And do you see that little card on the left? It says I now have a Tickle Pickle!
Nommy healthy treats, too!
Close up of some pictures I got.
And of course the best for last: My own Sleepy Pod!
Now you will kindly leave me to my Sleepy Pod and my new balls and my mouse and my Pink Tickle Pickle, Mommy! More pictures later!
You see, as soon as my lovely elves left, I wanted to curl up in the Pod for most of  the rest of the day!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, sweet Christmas Elves!
And thank you, Hemingway, Shakespeare, Katie, and Waffles for lending me your mommies for part of my wonderful day!
And, oh, yes, thank you camera company for helping me get my pictures downloaded to my computer again! Yippee!
Have a wonderful fantastic and lovely weekend, all!

HAPPY TUXIE TUESDAY!

I know. It looks like a black and white picture. I swear it is NOT. My chair is just pale blue and white! And it was cloudy the day the picture was taken, if that matters.
No, Mommy hasn't figured out the camera upload problem (download? What ever!), this is just one of the last pictures we did get into the computer! And I told Mommy not to publish yet another pre-run picture! Not on Tuxie Tuesday! And this was there.
Barb came over yesterday afternoon. And she smelled kind of suspicious.  There was another kitty smell! Hiss, you say? Nope. Barb rescued a kitty outside her work (it took her over a week and a Trap Neuter Return box). She took it to a vet, had it checked out, and now she has a new black kitty at her house named Midnight! Yes! Now you know why I can't hiss! Barb is great at scritchies, I know, and since it turns out Midnight is a cuddler and a real sweetie I am so happy she found her furever home with Barb! I am happy for Barb, too!
Tomorrow Mommy has another heart appointment and we hope that it is the last one and Mommy is okay. Just when we think we are caught up reading there are more posts to read, so I told Mommy we have to TRY to catch up today, as we won't be reading tomorrow.
It has been warm the last couple of days but it is going to be cold again.  We actually had one of the windows open all day yesterday! Not today!
Mommy has something good cooking in the kitchen today. Nom! It's just that so much people food smells good and I don't care for it, and I hope this isn't one of those things! You know I like stuff like spinach and sweet potatoes, and sometimes ham or turkey or chicken, but I would rather have my own stuff, please.
Have a wonderful day!
love ya,
QUINN

FINALLY!

Happy 12 13 14
Mommy thought that was cool.  I would rather say
Happy Caturday!
We have just almost caught up with our blog reading! Whew, there are a lot of blogs we love! So Mommy said I could post something.  She still hasn't got the camera thing figured out, but she's only really been feeling lots better today.  I have my chair back!
Barb didn't come on Tuesday. Mommy then slept for like two zillion days. She's coming Monday, instead. Hooray!
Mommy said now she has a weeks worth of kitty furs to sweep, and she wonders if the old hand held vac still works. It would be nice for the chair, at least.
No holiday shopping here. Just a Chewy box coming with my monthly foodies. Mommy doesn't get her disability check til next week, but we aren't spending green papers anyway, cause there are bills to pay. Honestly I don't see any ducks! And I don't even get an allowance (except for my PayPal account--hint hint. I want a cat tree and my Cat Attract*!) so why should the ducks get anything?
Have a great weekend! Cross your paws for Mommy figuring out the camera thing!
love ya,
QUINN
*Cat Attract is a brand of litter if you are wondering, peoples.

Tuesday Update!

I feel fine, efurryone. Absolutely! But now Mommy has a bad bad cold. And she feels miserable. When she came out to the living room this morning I jumped on my chair. She said "Really?" and I jumped down and went into my box.  Gotta give her some comfort when she feels crappy! Okay, Mommy, you can sit in my chair!
Still haven't figured out why my camera won't download (or is it upload?) to my computer all the sudden. I think I may have to wait until Mommy's brain feels better and she's not filling the place with tissues!
We called Barb this morning to warn her that Mommy has a cold, and give her a chance to reschedule. We left a message. Haven't heard from her, so I think she's still coming this afternoon.
When Mommy got home yesterday she didn't even eat dinner. She went to sleep.  Well, she slept when she wasn't blowing her nose!
Maybe more later. We'll wait to see how miserable Mommy is.

QUINN

Easy Sunday

Oh, shoot! We had every intention of me blogging earlier this weekend.  But I was feeling a little crappy early yesterday morning, so Mommy was "keeping an eye on me". Nothing serious. I even had a really good play time later in the day.  You wouldn't believe how bedraggled my poor Da Bird is. I've really had a lot of fun killing it. A lot! Worn out toy, happy cat!
And we are seriously behind in our blog reading. Oh, shoot, again!  I think shoot is mommy's favorite saying this weekend! Kinda catchy. Especially when it has nothing to do with cameras!
Oh, yes.  I wanted to reassure you that I am purrfectly okay, now. Eating, drinking, playing, sleeping fine! Just one of those things. I threw up, I was really fine, Mommy worried. Ya know?
Mommy has to go to the clinic Monday, so we won't be catching up on my reading. And then on Tuesday, my friend Barb is coming! I love her scritchies! Sorry, but I won't be catching up on my reading then, either, probably. Real live scritchies, ya know?
Mommy's camera is loaded with new pictures. Only for some reason she's having a hard time downloading them to the computer. Did my laser eyes help demolish this?
Her Kindle for PC app is gone, too. Heh-heh. She only has her Adobe book reader working for her library downloads! Those are reasons we are late blogging.
I recycled one you haven't seen yet. Not the greatest.
Have an Easy Sunday.
love ya,
QUINN

Guess What Today Is!

Hey, did you know it is Giving Tuesday? And it is an international event! I think that's kind of cool. We wish we could participate, but are spreading the word anyway. That's participating, isn't it? Give to your favorite charity today! Or a new charity. Make up for all the green papers you spent on Black Friday and Cyber Monday and give some hope, instead.
Speaking of green papers, peoples have asked me what has been added to our PayPal account. Mommy has just enough to pay for this month's insulin! Woo-hoo! A little over half our needs! We are so grateful to you all! We know some of you are in the same spot as us, living on fixed incomes and all, so please let the blogosphere know if you need help, too.
The bug guys were here this morning, so we got that taken care of.  Tomorrow Mommy goes to the clinic about her diabetes.
Does anybody know how you ask Medicare for a walker? We know that the people vet has to write a prescription for it, but who do you give the paper to? Mommy definitely needs a walker!
And speaking of my Mommy, she still aches a lot from her fall. She said 40 years ago she would have been up and forgotten all about the spill. Now, she knows she's going to hurt for a few days! She must be older than dirt! Don't let her know I said that! I like my massages and pets and rubbies and scritchies and my foodies! I don't need her mad at me. No way!
There is no sunshine today. Maybe tomorrow. Mommy said the temperature is barely in the double digits (20), but that's all you can say about it. And don't even talk  about Celsius! That number is a negative one (-7)!
Giving Tuesday is also Tuxie Tuesday. And Tortie Tuesday. And a lot of other Tuesday things. But you know what? Tuxie Tuesday is the best! After Giving Tuesday, of course!
love ya,
QUINN

Monday Mutters

We appreciate your suggestions and what we are asking for is kind of short term help. $300 would help us cover this  month’s insulin on our present prescription drug insurance and the first month of next year with our new insurance program’s annual deductions. That is it. After that Mommy can handle everything. Can you imagine what it would be like if we didn’t have the government’s “extra help”?
Mommy has researched insulin help for several years. There is none if you are already insured. That’s the catch. We have insurance, so there is no help. Crazy, isn’t it? If you live on a fixed income and are anywhere above the poverty line you do not qualify for medical assistance from the county or state, and all the inexpensive or free help for insulin is for people without insurance. Mommy calls that “catch 21” I think. Or “22”. Or something. I forget. Peoples have weird words sometimes!
Medical Advantage plans—that is what she was on last year, and it got to be way too expensive, if you can believe that. Mommy had to drop it. She investigated the SilverScript prescription plan, but oddly enough they don’t cover the type of insulin she takes at all. Her regular medical insurance has been really great and we are keeping it. The new prescription drug plan (after she pays the annual deduction) sounds like a better plan for her medicines. The “extra help” takes a chunk out of that, thank goodness!
Mommy has been an advocate of help for diabetics, and now senior diabetic assistance, for years. Write your congresspersons. Call them (Mommy has!). Our congresspersons have been working on a plan to close that “donut hole” or at least make it not so big a hole. We wish the major insulin makers would allow generic ones that would cost less.  But that would cut drastically into their profits! So, insulin remains a big expense for diabetics. All the other medications she takes ARE generic, thank Cod.
I do have to tell you that Mommy fell yesterday and couldn’t get up right away. She wishes she had a wheel chair or even a walker she could occasionally sit in. But she doesn’t. She has balance problems. I was so upset when she fell and tried so many times to get up. I couldn’t help. After a long time she did make it up. She was shaken and found some place to sit down right away. Today she kind of hurts all over.
Oddly enough during the time she was on the floor yesterday her phone rang (nowhere near her) and she found out later that it was the pharmacy wondering if she had figured stuff out, cause this month’s insulin is sitting at the pharmacy waiting for her. I think she is getting kind of unsteady on her feet and should have help. We’ll see. Something to work on next year.
Pleasant stuff: Uh, its cold out and we are nice and warm? That really is a big help in Minnesota in the winter! We are nice and warm.  Mommy actually has a fan turned on lots of time! I heard that her last apartment was very cold in the wintertime. So she is really happy she found this place. It is comfy! I would have to agree! Sometimes our toes are cold, but there are warm things to sit on!
Mommy laughs at me cause I sit in “her” new living room chair a lot. But it is MY chair, right? I thought so.  She has the office chair! She can get a wheel chair or a walker she can sit in. I love my chair. It is sooo comfy. So there! Get me a cat tree! Then maybe I’ll let you sit in the chair more. Oh, I know. We can’t afford it. As Nissy would say, Mouses! My boxes are not that comfy, but at least they exist!
We have the bug guys from maintenance coming this week. We are so glad they try to keep up with any problems and do preventative care, too.
Mommy does have to go to the clinic this week to see her diabetic nurse, who is trying to see if they have any samples of insulin Mommy can have. It would only be about a week’s worth, maybe, but a help!

Whew. I had a lot to say for a kitty, didn’t I!
Have a good week, and keep warm.
Love ya,
QUINN

Easy Sunday and Help Requested

Happy Easy Sunday!
I absolutely love this picture of me. I take better selfies than Mommy! Woo-Hoo! The sun is sorta shining today, but no real sun puddles so far.  But we can still get our easy on. Hope you all have shopped yourself out. Or are you waiting for Cyber Monday? Peoples are downright silly this time of year!
I really didn't get any turkey. It was funny smoked stuff. Blech! But the sweet potatoes! Oh, my! I love them! So I was happy! Mommy ate her turkey without me begging for some. But she had to look out when it came to the sweet potatoes! Big NOMS!
Now to depart from our Easy:
I have to ask this since Mommy won't. We are in serious trouble (when aren't we, it seems like). It's Mommy's intsurance again.  They claim she has exceeded the limit of drugs for the year, and her insulin now costs $322. She is dropping them at the end of the year, because she can't afford their beyond limit charges. She has contacted her clinic and they can get her about a week's worth of insulin.
This whole thing is absolutely crazy again! She is switching intsurance again next year, but that means  it will only be $186 for the first month's drugs (with a deductible) which is hard for us to pay but a lot better than $322!
Is there any way to raise some green papers for us? We can't possibly pay for insulin through the end of December and pay rent. And if you don't pay rent here you are out the door! And it's cold out!
There is no way I am getting a cat tree this year. And I can get the litter I don't like cause it's cheaper.  And Mommy has put on hold some of her other medical stuff she pays "out of pocket". If you can help with anything on our wish lists, please do. But right now we need to pay for the insulin, cause, if you didn't know, this is life threatening. Yes, Mommy is a diabetic. And needs her insulin!
We hope we can solve this major problem, but... I really don't want to loose my mommy and my home!
We know that this is a hard time of year to ask, because many are struggling to get presents for their own families and food and other necessary stuff. But please? If you can help that would be oh so appreciated!
If you want our email address, it is ladycristant at aol dot com. The Pay Pal button is to the right. And if you are curious, our new stuff was given to us, we didn't pay anything, and it is all gently used.
This big worry won't stop us from celebrating, at least on my blog if nothing else.
We now return to Easy Sunday:
Stay warm, my friends. Snuggle up to your peoples! Lovies, it's cold outside (unless you live in a warmer place, then, are you prepared for company?)!
love ya,
QUINN

update:
Mommy has been on the phone for a couple of hours! It seems like the insulin will only cost $124 this month (we don't have it), and there will be $182 deductible for next year's new intsurance. Mommy does have what's called "extra help" through the DC peoples, and that does help us (it would be much more for the deductible for next year without it!). She's talked to the pharmacy, her intsurance and Medicare today! Whew! Maybe now someone out there can help us get through this! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Easy Sunday

Mommy, I really really want a cat tree for Christmas!
Today it is foggy. I mean really foggy! And warm! So my Easy Sunday is going to be lots of naps cause although it's warm out, there is no sun! But I must say, I like the back of my new chair, and the seat,  and my new box, but please, now that we have room, could I have a cat tree? Please, Please, Please? I don't ask for much. And if I had a cat tree I would let you have this chair to sit on. Hmmm?
Today we are getting some groceries for Thanksgiving. And although Mommy said we are not having turkey, we ARE having turkey LEGS! That counts! And sweet potatoes!
Mommy goes back for the last of the heart tests tomorrow, so it won't be an all day kinda thing.  Which is good, cause they are predicting snow. They. You know, the weather guessers on tv?
Have a good Easy Sunday, all. Think good thoughts for Mommy tomorrow morning!

QUINN

Friday Update

Just a quick note late on Friday (well, actually not really late, but a lot later than we usually post). Mommy did very well on this round of tests, and still has more on Monday.
I have been a good girl (of course--shhh) and snuggled with her when she got home before I let her up to write this for me.
Tomorrow morning she gets coffee. Yea!!!!! And she can drink coffee before she goes in on Monday, too. She couldn't today.  All she had was water. Halfway through the test she got a small diet soda and some graham crackers. Then afterwards she went to their cafeteria at the hospital for lunch. She likes their food. No, she didn't bring me any left overs. That's okay. We're having chick-hen for dinner!

QUINN

Wordy Wednesday

Yes, I know. It seems like we are hiding out or something. Well, in this picture I guess I am.  It's my new box and it's in the living room, so I can be private but still close to Mommy. Can you see me?
Mommy has several tests she needs to take. I thought she was waaayyy done with school! But she told me they were tests for her heart, and she had to go to the human vets for them.  She's had two, and she's having more on Friday and again on Monday.
So we are dreadfully behind in writing posts and reading your postings. I'm trying to make Mommy catch up. So if you get comments from us on an older post, that's why.
It is very very cold here, and I hate to see Mommy go out in this weather, but she says she is only out for a minute or two before she gets in her ride, so that's not bad.
We are having a constant fashion show here (I miss it , of course) of all the woofies showing off their sweaters and coats before they go on their walkies. We hope that all kitties and woofies can stay warm this winter. It's starting off pretty brutal!
We are loving our new living room. I will, in the coming days, show you my new places to sit and sleep and stuff.  Stay tuned! Mommy's got that wicked camera out a lot!
Please remember to think of Mommy on Friday and Monday as she goes in for her tests.

Nice Wordy Wednesday, huh?
Keep warm (or cool as the case may be).
love ya,
QUINN

We know there is a long list of four leggeds and two leggeds who need help right now. Please, think kind thoughts, healing thoughts, nice prayers for everyone. Thank you. We will do the same!

Monday Mutters

We have to add to Sunday's Blessings: We are both at home watching the snowy crap from the inside of our cozy refuge!
Yeah, Winter hit. The cold hit. But Mommy doesn't have any real appointments until Friday. She could go run errands, but she really doesn't have to.  And right now we don't have the green papers. I have a Chewy delivery coming very shortly and that has to be paid for. So we are both home!
Stay warm. Stay inside. The woofies who need to go walkies, you keep safe!

love ya,
QUINN

Blest Sunday Offering

Welcome to our Blest Sunday offering! Thank you, Dezi and Lexi for this special occasion!
First of all, IT'S MY SECOND GOTCHA DAY!
Mommy and I have been together two whole years. I am so thankful I found my mommy!
This blog has been going for several years, and we are thankful that we have so many friends on here!
You make us want to come back day after day. We don't always post, but we are constantly reading and catching up, and we do comment when we can.
We are blest by all of you!
Now more blessings:
This is what we were sleeping on (minus the mattress and stuff). A broken bed. What? You didn't believe us? You should have!
We were given a new bed, and some quilting church ladies gave us a patchwork quilt! Mommy has wanted one, and it is beautiful! And comfy.  Blest again!
]
Well, our next blessing was a chair to replace our daybed:
And now in our living room we have chairs instead of that dumb daybed. This is Mommy's rocking chair, that was in the bedroom before:
And the little corner of a table? You see on the lower left? That was in mommy's closet cause there was no room for it before with the daybed. The legs screw on, and it was easy to do. It was broken down for easier storage before. Not broken. Taken apart!
Oh, and the tv stand was replaced (it was only propped up cause two legs were broken). It's a little wobbly, but we think it is a lovely thing:
Pardon the dust. It was more important to get everything settled than dusting!
This is what we have been working on and busy with.  The bedroom is not totally arranged yet. We were blest to be given these things to help our home become more of a home.  Mommy says it feels more like a living room than every before. And I can vouch for the nice comfy bed!
Those of you who contribute to our paypal account, you have been such a blessing, too! We know that there are lots of those who need help besides us, and we are so thankful for those who are able to give. The green papers are very helpful since we are on a limited budget! I get better food, better litter, where do you think my own little bed and my toys came from?  I am so blessed that you think of us! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Every little amount you can contribute adds up and helps us!
It's been requested that we do an Amazon wish list. But we just have lists (mine, Mommy's, and others) that we added to our pages. Check them out, help if you can. With any of the lists!!
Blessings, blessings, blessings. Good friends and warm hearts.
We are sending you the good warm fuzzies, of course!
love ya,
QUINN

Finally Friday

Mommy and I have been busy. Good busy. All will be revealed soon.  Our place is sort of "under construction" for a bit. "Our place" means home. And no we are NOT moving!

In other news, well, nothing else really is going on.  It has gotten colder, of course, and we take every sunny day we can. Currently it is NOT a sunny day, this lovely "head shot" is from a sunny day.

I think this lovely shot of me should be on all my blog posts. Do you agree? Or is that too vain? Well, maybe it should be darker, cause in this picture I kinda look a little like my angel sister, brandi, who is gray and white, and I am black and white. Lots more pictures to look over!

Back to snoopervising Mommy!
love ya,
QUINN

November 3, 2014

Monday Mutters

We hope you all had a spooktacular Halloween! We had lots of Halloweeny pictures (none of me! Thank you, Mommy) and stuff to share. But Halloween turned out fairly quiet and mellow. Saturday and Sunday, too. I actually did a nice thing for Mommy this morning. She found me next to her head this morning, being really quiet and all lovey when she woke up. I usually wait for her to wake up before I jump up on the daybed. But I fooled her this morning. And she was lovey back!

I think there's something to this lovey stuff. Might have to do it more often. I get rubbies and strichies a lot, and even once in a while I'm in the mood for a nice belly rub. But nothing as lovey as today. When she got up she actually fed me first! First! Usually she does her medicine stuff first and her shot. Wow!

Notice I said fairly quiet. Except for a lady knocking on the door looking for some guy named "Butch" and a campaign worker wanting to talk about a certain candidate for office (no names because we don't publicly want to support anyone on my blog except Dory for Blogville Mayor). It just so happens Mommy likes the candidate and feels he does a good job, so she told the worker she didn't need any paper stuff on the candidate and told him she already has decided to vote for him. She shooed the worker away very quickly with a nice smile. No paper stuff!

In utter mutter news: Don't forget, my Gotcha Day is November 9th and I have been here two whole years! That makes me three.
I'm testing out a different box, so I will let you know soon whether I want to keep it. It is smaller than my condo, but not a bad hidey place!
love ya,
QUINN

October 29, 2014

Wordy Wednesday!

Hi, there! Guess what, guess what?? The SOUND is fixed on our computer!!! We had a gentleman come and clean all our floors (he moved stuff like the freezer!!) and he also figured out the sound on our computer!! He and his wife live here in the building, are owned by a cat (!) and are very helpful people. We are blessed! I went back and visited all the videos on the blogs to hear them, too!
We got our free cell phone, but the charger is broke, so we tried Amazon and spent around $5 to replace it, and should have it by November 4th. That's not bad. Now if Mommy could figure out out to use it! She can't figure out how to create a contact list or access it. I suppose she'll figure it out. After she fully charges the phone!
Mommy went to the clinic Monday, and Tuesday she had to go run an errand downtown. She is home today, supposedly doing laundry (ha!) and picking up stuff so that the bug guys can come tomorrow (again, ha!) That means she will be up early tomorrow cleaning the litterbox again, and sweeping the floors and taking the garbage out.
Oh, and one not so nice thing about the gentleman that helped us? He's the one that carried out my condo!! Hisssssss!
I splatted the downgraded box she left for me, but I am also using it under protest.
Now you are all caught up.
Now my friends, Halloween is coming. And I am one of the lucky ones there. No costume to wear! And we don't get trick or treaters, either. They come to the main floor, and if you want to go down and give out candy and see all the cute costumes, you may. Nice idea for those who can't afford to buy stuff, and a nice idea for those who still want to see the little ones in their costumes. And nice idea for the animal residents here! Peace!
And Happy National Cat Day! As if every day wasn't Cat Day!
Love ya,
QUINN

Caturday News

Mommy did a horrible thing yesterday. Horrible!!!! She threw my condo away!!!! I've been evicted!! Oh, she left another box, but it is a horrible downsize! What's a girl to do??
I'm holding fast to our broken bed. She's not taking this away, is she? I've heard rumors!
Oh, and see our pretty cover?  Mommy doesn't like it, but I think it is just comfy enough! That isn't leaving, is it?
Oh, and the new phone should be here next week sometime. She can't wait to use the free long distance! And Mommy got a pressie from someone very nice! A Keurig! Thank you! That made her happy! Did you know you could make tea or cocoa in one? Not just coffee! Cool.
Mommy has to go back to the doctors on Monday. *sniff* I wish she would get better.
We still haven't figured out the computer sound. Mommy misses her videos!
Last night the tv table crumbled to the floor, but mommy caught the tv and propped up the table again.
Thank you to those of you who left a little pressie in our paypal account! Mommy is saving for some furniture (we need some!) and paying her medical stuff with it. Oh, and I need some Cat Attract litter, which we are totally out of. I do not like Tidy Cat! That's what we are left with!!
Hope you have a beautiful fall weekend (or spring for those Down Under). We even have window wiffies today, with windows open!!
Love ya,
Quinn

October 22, 2014

from Quinn

Hi. We are sort of back. Lots of medical problems and mommy's heart is I guess not doing what it's supposed to. Lots of stress right now, from broken heart doctors to broken furniture (the bed frame broke the first time mommy came home from the hospital, the tv stand is propped up cause mommy fell against it, the kitchen table is wobbly, the plastic bookcase that is probably at least 15 years old is bending in the middle) and now the sound doesn't work on our puter. Can anyone help?  Pay for the Geek Squad, at least?
We can live with the broken furniture (well, the bed isn't fun) but we can't watch videos on the puter except silently. No movies, no cute kitty sounds, nothing. Mommy has worked for two whole days to try to figure out what has happened. It all started with a broken modem. We gotted a new one and it was okay, but the cable company screwed up mommy's account. Then they hung up on her. She has called them probably a dozen or more times. They claim the sound is not their problem. And mommy can't afford to call someone to help fix it. I can't be in the same room with her when she is all tense and upset. It makes me too upset. I don't get many scritchies this way!
We understand. This is not a priority. Thanks for letting us vent. There are lots of doctor appointments right now and furniture problems and the puter is only one thing. But it means so much to mommy. She has not been eating right, or taking her medicine correctly. Too much worry.
Even her free government cell phone is dead. Whew. But she might be getting another. If the government says she can.
So we will try not to complain again. We'll get back to nice blog posts.Everyone has problems and we'll try to be more positive in our posts. We'll try really hard. We are hoping mommy won't have to go to the hospital again soon.
We love you all, and thank you for your prayers.
Send the Geek Squad if you can????
QUINN
and Mom Carol
ps. We did get my new Chewy box!
And Update: the government said okay to the phone! So now we wait!

Caturday Update

We have not been around the last couple of days. I mean, I have been around here, but Mommy hasn't. She ended up in the hospital. She is home now, and recuperating.  I'm not going to stress her out too much making her catch me up on all the posts we usually read. We'll read some whenever she feels up to it.
Have a good weekend, ya'll. And take care. We missed you. We'll get back to normal shortly. Now I'm going to snuggle and purr and make Mommy feel even better.

Tuxies Rule

I have stated the obvious. We rule. And don't you forget it!!
It has turned cold here! Where are the sunpuddles? Where are the warm window wiffies?
Have a warm day, all. Here's hoping you have sunpuddles and warm window wiffies! Or a nice human to snuggle with! Hi mommy!
love ya,

Remember Me Thursday

This is for all the orphans out there who are waiting for their forever homes. Angel brandi and Quinn were once waiting, too.
We love you all, and hope you get your dream home with loving parents and lots of love. It's the love that counts the most!
And thank you to all the rescue groups, fosters, and shelters who help those waiting. It is definitely worth it, what you do!

Thursday Thankful

Hey efurryone, we have some good news for a change!
We have been reading on a lot of blogs about chewy.com, and today we set up an account there for my foodies! So in a couple days we will have some more foodies for me.  And you know what the really good news is? It is way cheaper than the delivery service we have now, plus that delivery service (local) can't deliver till next Thursday! And chewy.com's shipping fee is even cheaper than that local place's delivery charge!
Now Mommy understands why so many bloggers use chewy.com!
So we are very thankful today.
And we can't forget that it is nice and sunny today, and lots of sunpuddles!
Why can't we see the mailbean from here, Mommy? I'm waiting for my first shipment of foodies!

Finally Friday!

Whew! what a week. Mommy has been feeling yucky and the bug guys were here again.  This time the building manager accompanied them, and said that the bug problem was slowly being taken care of, but would never really end, so they were going to keep spraying.
The bug guy asked where I was, and Mommy said she really didn't know. The bug guy said his kitties were the same.  They had lots of out of the way places, too, to snooze!
Any way, I was snoozing in my shelf.
It has gotten colder this week, and mommy has been snuggling with me in bed some.  She looked at me funny this morning, and not ha ha funny but confused funny. She wondered why I was laying on the daybed close to the cold wall.  Silly mommy, the heat thingy is also next to the bed!
Have a beautiful weekend, all, and, and, I hate saying this, it's too soon, but here it is: Stay warm!
love ya all,
QUINN
