A Nice Dilemma

We have a dilemma.
Pause while Mommy listens to part of "Trial by Jury" by some guy named Gilbertand Sullivan. You are lucky she didn't put the YouTube thingy on here. It was called something like "A Nice Dilemma" and it was not anything about my dilemma!
Anyway, back to MY dilemma:
There are soo many blogs to follow and read everyday that Mommy hasn't been letting me post on MY blog. I know I love to read lots of blogs, and I don't want to NOT read them. What can I do?
It now takes us a couple of hours a day to read what my friends are doing. And when I have to miss a day or two, it takes even longer.
Well, the dilemma part is:
I never get to post!
What to do, what to do. NO, Mommy, not more of the Sullivan!
If anything, I'd rather hear this:

I KNOW it's a woofie.  I LIKE woofies. And he definitely knows how exciting suppertime is. Although we kitties are a little more laid back. But only a teensy bit.
Anyway, this doesn't solve MY dilemma. Uh-oh. Mommy's starting to sing that Sullivan thingy about dilemmas calling for all our wit.
Any suggestions? About any of it?
love to all,
QUINN

You could try what we's do...we makes mom post for us furst before we makes her read us the blogs, MOL.

Sometimes it doesn't work and she doesn't post for us for days and days and days. (well, maybe just days).

We thinks its okay to read and not always comment too. We knows our furriends are out there.

Have a great weekend!

Snoopy kinda reminds me of Sookie when it's time for her to eat LOL. And it's all right, Quinn, we don't always have time to post either!

Post once or twice a week and alternate reading blogs. Our Mommy has already had to give this alot of thought.

Whatever you decide to do, enjoy!

We have the same problem, Quinn. We do the best we can, but we follow so many blogs that we look at a lot of them and can't comment, or we would never have time to eat! We will understand if you don't have time to comment on blogs, or to post. And we're glad to hear from you when time permits. Blogging isn't about being under pressure. It's about having fun, after all.

We have that problem too sweet Quinn. Mumsy has been reading and reading for the last week but she finally posted something for some of us today. Mumsy tells us blogging is supposed to be fun, so just post sweet Quinn and if you have time to read fine but if not that is okay too. Just have fun! Hugs and nose kisses

We have the same problem. There are so many blogs to read and TW has been slacking off as you may have noticed. Apparently, she isn't the only one. My comments have really dropped off to the point, I'm not sure I'm going to continue to post.

It's hard to keep up. Really, it is. What I do is prioritize.

There are a pawfull of blogs I try to visit every day no matter what although sometimes I don't always manage that.

Then I try to visit anyone that I know visited me although sometimes I don't always manage that, either.

Finally, if there's time left over, I try to scoot by another pawfull of blogs... usually whichever ones pop up on the Blogger Reader e-mail notifications.

Basically, I just do my best. That's all we can do. Eventually, I make it 'round to everyone... I hope.

Sadly, we know the dilemma you're in. Actually, most bloggers probably do. :(

We have the same problems. We post first, then visit. We return those who left comments and try to visit some who didn't afterwards. We spend hours each day and still miss friends. Although, we take a break most weekends cause we have things we must do.

Hi Quinn,
We have exactly the same problem! Glogirly says she just has to try and not stress over it.

We know we can't visit and comment everyday, but we try to as much as we can.

Compromise is always good. Maybe you could post only on certain days and on your days off you can do your visiting and commenting.

One thing we do to make things easier is have a couple days a week devoted to really simple blog posts. We do the Saturday Photohunt thing which doesn't take a lot of time to post. Wordless Wednesday is another thing that can be quick to post. We just started doing something we're calling Facebook Faves. Once a week we're picking some of the favorite things we've seen on Facebook and sharing them in a blog post through their "embed" option. (it doesn't have to be from your page or your profile eigher)

Those are just a few ideas...but don't feel bad. I think most of us struggle with never enough time. : )

ps - Thank you so much for stopping by with your well-wishes for Glogirly. She's feeling better already!

Yes, I know your dilemma - it's hard to be a blog follower and still have a life in a human-to-human-inperson way. I guess the answer is moderation - don't be concerned if you cannot blog comment as much as you would like.

We have the same problem. No time to post or read blogs ...life gets in the way of fun, unfortunately.

Our mom and dad say they have the same dilemma. The good thing is, visiting friends is fun because we love our blog pals! Our mom says the key is scheduling. One day for making up a week's worth of posts. Another day just for visiting. Another day for commenting. A day for photographing and that leaves three days to yourselves to enjoy however you'd like. Schedule, schedule, schedule. Just don't forget to schedule your scheduling! MOL! Have a good weekend! Purrs...

IT's a tough one, Quinn - I've had to pop out of Blogville altogether for a while now (because They have been too busy ..... really, They should find me a full time assistant) and I'm just catching up and it's a major dilemma - what to do - post or read or both or ......!!! Maybe post once or twice a week and comment when you can - She feels bad about not commenting on everyone's blog but I think we all understand that sometimes, things like work, chores, necessities, get in the way of Blogville!!!

Hi and thanks for popping over to my blog and commenting. It can be so hard to shop well when you are without a car and struggling to walk freely. It is also important to find good suppliers who are quick to deliver and at the best prices you can find and I commend you on doing the same. The whole broken litter box potential is not something I am even going to think about right now...!

I was also struck by your post above. I've been missing from the blogosphere due to personal and family demands and have only recently returned. It can be hard not to get too overwhelmed blogging, reading and commenting as there is just so much out there but it is lovely being back amongst my bloggy friends even if I have missed quite a bit over the last couple of months.

Love to you and thanks for coming by.
