News

If I have to be fostered, mama knows someone who may help with that. A person she met who works with the place that originally rescued me! So, maybe that's covered.

Well, mama called the senator this morning, and that got the ball rolling for a bit. She had a meeting downtown with several people, and some stuff accomplished. We think by next week she will have medical insurance again and EBT (like food stamps). Hooray!

It's not much, can't pay the rent or utilities, but it is a start.

I was happy to see mama in a better mood. And her glucose levels dropped A LOT, just cause of the stress level dropping cause someone is really trying to help.

That is good news, I think. Still have to deal with the rent and utilities, and that is a lot of worry. But the food and medicines will help a lot. And she got in to a doctor through these people, and there would have been a three month wait without them. She gots an appointment next Monday!

Thank you for all your help. Prayers (and US Senators) help a lot.

love,
brandi

Hats off to your Mum Brandi, for trying so hard to get herself some help when you are in such a vulnerable situation. I hope this is the start of some real concrete support for you both that will allow your Mum to get back on her feet. Fingers crossed that the help comes through ok. :)

Good to know something positive is coming your way.

If you contact the utilities, you might be able to set up some sort of payment plan. At least that would help keep the lights and water on.

Have you checked with any of the churches in the area? Your mama might be able to get some help there, and maybe even some job leads.

Good luck.

Gosh Brandi, Mom and I are so sorry that you are having so many problems. Boy, that was really crummy about the job your Mom had, just to use her. Life is just not fair sometimes. I guess that's why Mom says we have to rely on God when the going gets tough. We will be sending prayers up for you. I sure do hope that you will get to come back to your Mom if you are fostered out for awhile.
Take care and God Bless.
