We are sorry for the late post, but Mommy has been working on the blog today.
We would like to say the following:

We in America Have the Right to freedom of speech and freedom of thought and belief. And you defend all our Rights, for which we are deeply in debt.  Whether we are for government or against, for the military or against, democrat, republican, or other political designation,  Christian, Muslim, Jewish, other religion or Atheist, We are all Americans, and we should recognize those who stand for our rights and defend them.

Good Kitty

I was what Mommy called a little hellion last night and early this morning. I was just playing. Honest. I like running all over and bumping into moving things around.sometimes.  I live in a small apartment. THoE is hard to play in these conditions. I do the best I can. It takes talent!
We will be around this weekend, and will at least read a lot of blogs, if not comment on all.
Hope you all have some good sunpuddles this weekend and get to spend time with your guardians.

Thank you all for calling me a winner, even though I didn't make finalist for Cool Cat.  But PLEASE don't stop voting, cause some other deserving cats and dogs deserve to win, and their choice of shelters will really appreciate the $500 for food, litter, and cleaning supplies.

And Mommy won't have to sweep every day and brush me three times a day (I'm really shedding right now). Yes, I'm beginning to love my brushing and combing, but this will be even better.

Did you know my Mommy sneezes LOUD?  Well maybe now she won't. At least as often.

Tummy Tuesday

Hmm. She didn't even pose me! Yet there I am, in the middle of the blanket design.  Divas just know, don't we? I rarely give away tummy shots, and this is one that mommy caught by accident.  She looked over and there I was!
They will be posting finalist photos later today, so check back for more info.  If I am not a finalist, well, you did get a good belly shot, right? And some nice shelters will get help.

I Entered a Contest for Coolest Cat!!

Furr-ends! I entered another contest and this one, as of Tuesday, ANYONE CAN VOTE FOR ME! It's from a local grocery store we use, and they have a contest for Top Dog and Coolest Cat.  The store is Coburns. Top winners will receive a $500 Coburn's gift certificate and the Shelter of their choice will receive one too. (that means if I win, Feline Rescue does too!) Runners up get a $100 gift card and if you vote, you can win a $50 gift card (it would be nice if you sent it to Feline Rescue in St. Paul).

Now for regular news.  Yes, mommy left a shelf for me in the linen closet! It has been raining a lot here. Mommy goes to the clinic tomorrow, but she will be back by lunchtime. She's been trying to get a good picture of me on my shelf, but they turn out dark (well, I am a black and white cat) if she can get me at all!

Coburns is coming in just a while to deliver our groceries (and, yes, my Purina One), so I will sign off.

A New Nook! (Not that Kind)

Mommy Day was yesterday, and I was a very good kitty. Sort of.  I did make her laugh. She caught me in the linen closet. No, she didn't finish putting it back together on Saturday!  And sneaky mommy laughed.

Yup, she found me. And when my snoozy nice place was interrupted and she came back with the camera, well, I left. Not to say I didn't return later, but....

I wasn't sticking around for more pictures!

Finally Free!!

So sorry it's been a bad week. Mommy has been taking stuff out of the cabinets and closets and doing all sorts of weird stuff.  I though she was moving us!
Then today (nothing packed, just on the floor) she imprisoned me!
Yes!  I was in jail! 
She said that a new company was going to fog the apartments for bugs and everything had to be out of the cabinets and closets and stuff.  So she got ready for them, and to take me downstairs.
Well, they came, they sprayed, and said she was doing a good job baiting for bugs and to wait for everything to dry before letting me out of prison.
No fogging. No downstairs.  I just had to wait for the chemicals to dry (then it would be safe for me).
Only this morning she covered the bed in glassware and plateware. And it's lumpy! 
Hooray. I'm free!
Getting back to visiting soon!
Now I'm supervising mommy correcting the mess on the floor! And my bed! Wonder how long it will take?  Who knows. At least the windows got opened again.

SPRINTER GO AWAY!

I'm still not coming out til this Sprinter is gone (spring + winter). Well, only for the litter box and foodies and water.  But that's it! Sheshh!
I am sooo tired of cloudy wet weather.  Sometimes it snows, sometime it rains. This is so wrong.  It's MAY for cod's sake!
