Yesterday was sunny. Today is sunny. And once again, Mama is Working! :-(
I smell spring! Hurry up with the camra, mama! Maybe you should take pictures outside, too.
Mama is waiting for the Swan man to come tomorrow, but before she comes home tomorrow she has to do something called "give blood". She does this every once in a while. How could giving your blood away (shudder, thinks of V-E-T) make you happy???
Mama says it is a gift for others who need blood. Hmmm. Well, if it makes her happy and helps others, I suppose. Mama is good about that kind of thing. She brushed me last night and that helped me. She cleaned my litter box. That helps me. So, if giving blood helps others, why then more beans should!
Do kitties give blood??? I mean not just at the V-E-T. I wonder.
Have a sweet day. And you beans, give blood! It will make you happy like my mama, and help others!!!

Oh yes. Kitties can be blood donors for other kitties who are having surgery, etc.

our mommy gives blood too - she said that she has given blood for 20 years. that's a long time. i hope it grows back.
Mama says blood grows back. She has to drink a lot of water and that helps make the blood. I don't understand that [eyeing water dish suspiciously], but I believe her. I think.
She has been giving for a long time too. She says it is a tradishun in her family.

Momma says her blood type is A+. She says that's the only time in her life she ever got as A plus on anything!!
Mom can't give blood cuz she's too skinny. Dad can't cuz he faints. Mom says when she was a girl, their vet said they keep a large cat "in house" as a blood donor for trans fusions. Has to be large so it don't faint an calm as "house cat" for the vet. I can't imagine my home bein at the vet! Eeep!
Bootiful day here, but beans all out huntin an no windoze open. Maybe tomorrow.
I love my vets. I know, I know, they are vets, but when they aren't doing nasty things to me, they are very very nice. The assistants play with all the animals, and you can tell they all love us. When I stay there, sometimes I don't even want to go home!
My mama gets an A- for blood. Should I tell her to try harder?
