Saturday Stuff

We have spent most of the morning unplugging our old speakers (lots of tangled wires!) and plugging in the ones that came in the mail. System says everything is okay, but still no sound.
Does anyone know if you have to actually program your speaker thingy on the computer so it recognizes it?
That is our question for the weekend. Mommy and I are at wits end.  We've tried some websites that deal with "no sound" and they are either no help or too techy to understand (and no help).
Mommy has other stuff she wants to do, and we haven't even read my blog friends. Looks like we will be slightly behind again!
Enough. Please help! Someone out there should be techy enough to solve our problem!
In other news, mommy has a headache (wonder why) and it is pretty and sunny out. And 38 degrees Fahrenheit. Nice!
I think we need a tech to come to our door and fix our sound. And while he/she is at it, serve a nice meal for both of us! And maybe wash the floor? Too much?? I don't think so! I mean, the litter box is clean, so we aren't asking for someone to take care of that!
love ya,
QUINN

We are not very techy ourselves and had our share of computer woes. We hope someone who is can help!

Hi Quinn!
Sorry, we're no help in the tech department. I think some people have gotten help from Geek Squad. They used to be (or maybe still are) associated with Best Buy. Beyond asking Mr. Google for help, that's the only thing we can think of!

Oh Quinn, weez so sorry yous new speakers not work. Weez not much help, but once when we twied to help sumpawdy els wiff this very fing we didn't check to make sure dat da speakers wuz plugged into da wight place and turned on. So dat wuld be ow furst suggestion. And then, no yous not hav to purrogwam them into da puter, but yous might hav to go into da contwol panel and choose da sound option and then choose external speakers/sound. And ifin those fings not work...weez can't help anymore. Sorry but as yous know, mommys nun too bwight 'bout these tech fings eever. Good Luck. Weez'll be purrayin' fur ya'

Luv ya'

we are so sorry about the no sound issue........did you check with the manufacturers of your speakers? Are they compatible with the type of computer that you have?

Well I'm not that good either…but maybe unplug them, turn off the machine, plug them back in and then turn it back on?! When in doubt reboot! They could have a little dial too that you need to flip on. they hide them sometimes!

Hope it works.

Electronic stuff can be so frustrating! Hope its solved by now. Mom is loving her SAD light. She does use it in the mornings and it seems to be making a difference.
